WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
Effective December 17, 2022, our storefront will be open Friday by appointment only, Saturday from 12pm-7pm, and Sunday 12pm-4pm. If you need to contact us, you may call us at (469) 372-0033 or email us at email@example.com.
DO YOU OFFER PICKUP?
Yes, we offer pickup for pastries and other small orders. Pickup is available on Friday from 10am-8pm and on Saturdays and Sundays during regular business hours. Please note that we DO NOT offer pickup for special event cakes that are more than one tier.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T MAKE THE PICKUP TIME?
If you can not make your scheduled pickup time, please call us at (469) 372-0033 to let us know. We will do our best to arrange another time. Please understand that another time may not be available. Because these items are perishable, your order will either be sold or donated to local first responders the following day. That decision is up to our discretion. No refunds will be issued due to a customer missing their pickup time.
CAN I PLACE AN ORDER FOR SAME-DAY DELIVERY?
At this time, we are unable to accommodate same-day orders. Because everything is made from scratch and made to order, we don't offer any pre-made baked cakes.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO PLACE AN ORDER?
For custom cakes and events, we require at least 72 hours notice for small orders. However, we recommend that you place your order at least one month in advance. For weddings, we require at least 45 days notice but recommend that you book with us at least 6 months in advance.
DO YOU OFFER TASTINGS OR TASTING BOXES?
At this time, we do not offer tastings. However, we do offer consultations that include a pastry sample box.* If you'd like to book a consultation, click HERE. We will send out an update via email to our subscribers once we start doing tastings. So make sure you subscribe to our mailing list.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR DELIVERY AND HOW FAR DO YOU DELIVER?
We currently have no limit on how far we’ll deliver. We have delivered wedding cakes as far as 2 hours away. Our current delivery rate per mile is $0.95. However, tiered cakes have an additional delivery fee starting at $30 plus the mileage rate.
HOW MUCH ARE YOUR WEDDING CAKES?
Our cakes start at $5.50 a serving and go up depending on flavor, design and size. Our wedding cakes average around $575. However, our cakes start from $198 and have gone up to $1900. Most cakes for smaller events like birthdays and bridal showers average around $200.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
For large orders and weddings, we require a non-refundable retainer of $150 or 25%, whichever is higher. This holds the date of your event. Orders for large events and weddings must be paid in full 45 days before the event date. For all other orders that are less than $175, payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
CAN I PAY FOR A CAKE WHEN I PICK IT UP OR WHEN IT IS DELIVERED?
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
For weddings and large events, cancellations are allowed up to 60 days before the event. All monies will be refunded less the non-refundable retainer and any monies used for supplies for your event. If canceled less than 60 days before the event all monies will be forfeited. For all other orders, if the cancellation happens 10 days or less before the event all monies paid will be forfeited. If it is 11 or more days before the event, 50% of the total cost of the order will be refunded.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
We do not offer refunds. All of the items we sell are perishable and we can not accept them for return. We do not offer refunds for personal taste discrepancies.
DO YOU OFFER CAKES WITH LICENSED CHARACTER?
No. But we would be more than happy to design a cake for you using colors that are similar to the character/image.
DO YOU OFFER EDIBLE IMAGES?
Yes, we have the ability to print edible images. However, you must provide a high resolution image that is at least 300 PPI (pixels per inch). We do not convert low resolution images and are not responsible for a blurry edible image if you provide a low resolution image.
DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN FREE OR VEGAN ITEMS?
We do not offer 100% gluten free or vegan items. However, we do sterilize our equipment between uses and offer some "gluten friendly" and "vegan-friendly" items. We will publicly introduce those items in an email blast when that time comes.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR CAKES?
Because our desserts are made from scratch with no preservatives, our cakes are best enjoyed the day of. If you have leftover cake, it can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Allow the cake to come to room temperature and enjoy!
